He has been an Innovation mentor with UK Department of Trade, Business Innovation and Skills department; and delivered government funded Growth Accelerator support for early stage entrepreneurs in partnership with Oxford Innovation Centre. He has been awarded Gold Standard for Responsible Business Standards four times since 2012.

Clive is a keen roller-blader, fund-raiser for public heart defibrillators, and founder of Beacon Hub Brighton creating public space for healthy walking. He has been happily married to Sue since 1976, with two sons Ben and Tom, and two rescued terrier dogs from Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, an animal health charity.
